Shanee is a strong corporate commercial lawyer, having qualified at the Bar of England and Wales. She has held a number of senior roles in large corporations including Capita PLC and the British Medical Association as Senior Counsel to the General Practitioners Committee. She is the founder and creator of LMC Law and has grown, what started as a small consultancy, into a business that covers almost three quarters of England in terms of Healthcare clients. An expert in her field, she brings her strong commercial background into the healthcare arena, as well as advising a number of commercial clients. Her practical, no nonsense approach and her understanding of the needs of her clients is paramount to the ethos of the business.

 

Shanee Baker

Jayne has a number of years experience as a solicitor in the field of civil and property litigation. She took a few years out to work in primary education but returned to the legal profession in 2021. Jayne provides support to the corporate governance arm of the business, prepares legal documents for healthcare and undertakes research into healthcare matters.


Away from the office, Jayne enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a keen gardener.

Claire has been a member of the LMC Law team since early 2015, working as both paralegal and client liaison. Her skills (including her drafting skills) are both extensive and practical and during her time at LMC Law has developed a wealth of corporate commercial knowledge both within and outside of the healthcare industry. Claire is also the LMC Law corporate governance lead. She also brings with her a wealth of experience from client-focused roles in companies based in the UK and Europe.

In her spare time, Claire undertakes volunteer work in her local community and enjoys Zumba.

Christine had 35 years' clinical and managerial experience in the NHS before she joined LMC Law. She is now able to apply her knowledge of General Practice and healthcare to her Client Manager role. Christine has extensive experience of client liaison, events co-ordination, and the implementation and development of new services. She provides a valuable liaison between the client and the lawyers to ensure the smooth running of projects and team admin.

In her spare time Christine is a keen gardener, runs a local Brownie group in her local village and sings in a choir.

Philip has extensive senior management and board level experience working in the health sector having held senior roles in the NHS, both in primary and secondary care. After leaving the NHS, he maintained his interest in healthcare as Chief Executive of a major national medical charity and established new charities in Australia, New Zealand and Ireland. He has a particular interest in human resource management and business development and has been a lead for major organisational changes.

In his spare time, Philip enjoys playing golf and sailing, following football and spending time with his family.

management assisting organisations to strive forward with their developmental plans.

Pauline has worked in HR for many years and has a great deal of experience and expertise gained within the corporate sector and the not-for-profit sector. She has gained an in-depth knowledge of HR and is an experienced interviewer. For the last 10 years Pauline has provided HR advice and guidance to general practice.
She can advise organisations with various aspects of HR including disciplinary cases, grievances, absence management, performance management, TUPE and recruitment, as well as the day-to-day HR issues.

In her spare time Pauline likes to spend time with her family and enjoys walking, especially by the coast.
